Collegiate Scholars Program

Charleston Collegiate School has defined itself as a leader in education and takes pride in the program's "real world" approach to teaching and learning. An important component in that philosophy is creating a diverse community.

Diversity is not simply an ethnic difference: differences in learning styles, economic experience, and cultural traditions all enrich a community dedicated to discovery.

However, supporting our diversity goals requires resources beyond our normal avenues. The Charleston Collegiate Scholars program was designed to meet these goals.

Dedicated contributors to the Scholars Program agree to support tuition payments for a deserving student during their career at CCS. A selection committee chooses the Scholar(s) from the applicant pool, identifying qualities that exemplify the values important to CCS. Potential scholars are asked to submit a request for consideration, describing their talents, their challenges, and how a CCS education will benefit their lives and those of others in their school community, their home, and their adult lives. Scholars must demonstrate a commitment to Charleston Collegiate School's values and meet their ongoing responsibilities in the classroom, volunteer activities, and the life of the school.
