Seniors Launch New Tradition by Painting Parking Spots
Charleston Collegiate School’s Class of 2026 kicked off a brand-new tradition this week by painting their own parking spots outside the Gymnasium. The lot is now alive with color, creativity, and personal expression, featuring designs that reflect each student’s favorite sports teams, hobbies, books, and sources of inspiration.
This student-driven initiative goes beyond paint and pavement—it’s a snapshot of the Class of 2026 and the stories they are ready to share with the CCS community. Each unique design highlights individuality while celebrating the shared energy and spirit of their senior year.
“Seeing the lot filled with the seniors’ creativity was inspiring,” said Sam Duncan, Director of Student Life. “It’s a wonderful way for students to express themselves and leave a lasting mark on campus.”
The event brought students together in a fun, collaborative way, combining artistry, school pride, and a sense of ownership in their high school experience. From bold colors to intricate illustrations, each parking spot tells a story that is distinctly theirs.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026 for launching this exciting tradition and adding a new layer of color and personality to the CCS campus. 💛💙
