Student Support

At Charleston Collegiate School, we believe students thrive when they feel known, supported, and understood. Academic growth, emotional wellbeing, and physical health are deeply connected, and our Student Support program is designed to nurture all three. From Lower School through Upper School, we provide intentional, age-appropriate support that helps students build confidence, resilience, and the skills they need to succeed both in school and in life.

Our approach emphasizes the development of executive functioning skills and the resilience necessary to meet grade-level expectations. We work closely with each student to address individual learning needs, ensuring every learner can thrive in the classroom.

Charleston Collegiate utilizes both push-in and pull-out support models. Our highly skilled interventionists collaborate with classroom teachers to align support with core instruction and thoughtfully integrate it into each student’s learning experience.

Student progress is reviewed individually, and when appropriate, accommodation plans are developed and implemented. These plans are designed to maintain high expectations while fostering independence, helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Student support at CCS is not confined to one office or department. It is part of our culture.
