Entrepreneurship
As one of our Four Pillars of Education at Charleston Collegiate School, Entrepreneurship equips students with the confidence, creativity, and practical knowledge to navigate an ever-changing world.
Across all grade levels, but especially in middle school through upper school, students develop essential skills in personal finance, public speaking, business development, and strategic thinking. They learn to identify problems, evaluate opportunities, manage resources responsibly, and communicate ideas with clarity and purpose.
Hands-on experiences allow students to create marketable products, design business and marketing plans, and explore the operational realities of launching and sustaining a venture. Whether writing grants to fund campus initiatives or building comprehensive business models, students gain authentic experience in turning ideas into action.
In all grade levels, CCS students learn about and engage in conversations around financial literacy. They gain an understanding of how to budget wisely, assess risk, adapt to change, as well as lead with integrity. They leave not only financially literate, but prepared to think entrepreneurially, ready to innovate, create, and contribute in college, career, and community.
