Giving
Every gift, no matter the size, allows Charleston Collegiate to invest in the education of students whose creativity, confidence, and intellect will shape the world around them.
Like all independent schools, we depend on a combination of tuition and the generosity of our community to meet both day-to-day needs and long-term goals.
Every gift helps support the people and programs that make CCS extraordinary—from our dedicated faculty and small class sizes to hands-on learning in the arts, outdoor education, entrepreneurship, athletics, and beyond.
Ways to Give
You can make a gift online with credit card or ACH by clicking here. You can also make your gift instantly through Venmo. You can find us @charlestoncollegiate.
Checks should be payable to Charleston Collegiate School and can be dropped off at the Front Office or mailed to the school: Attn: Director of Development at CCS, 2024 Academy Road, Johns Island, SC 29455.
Many companies match employee gifts to non-profit organizations. For example, if a donor gives $5,000 to CCS, a matching gift company will also give $5,000 to CCS. Contact your employer’s human resource office to find out the necessary steps to submit a match request; then forward the appropriate forms or log-in information with your gift to CCS.
Please contact the Development Office if you have any questions or need additional assistance.
Gifts of securities, such as appreciated stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, can be a tax-wise way to support Charleston Collegiate School. The following information is needed to complete your stock transfer:
Broker: Edward Jones
Account Name: Charleston Collegiate School
Account #: 49006670-1-7
DTC #: 0057
Charleston Collegiate Tax ID#: 57-0524957
This type of giving is common with grandparents and is a major gift that benefits CCS over a longer period of time. Examples of planned giving include a bequest for CCS in your will, trusts, gifts of life insurance, retirement plan assets, or property. Contact the Development Office for more information (843) 559-5506).

Why Give?
Tuition covers approximately 70% of the true cost of a CCS education.
To keep a Charleston Collegiate education accessible to a broader range of families, we intentionally set tuition below the full cost of educating each student. Philanthropic gifts allow us to continue delivering an exceptional, mission-driven experience.
Thank you for supporting our students, teachers, and staff and for believing in the power of a CCS education.
