Tuition and Affordability
At Charleston Collegiate School, the lunch program, technology, textbooks, lab fees, and most field trips are included in the cost of tuition.
Note that school uniforms (PS-8th grade), aftercare, specialty field trips, Winterim, athletic team fees, and other after-school activities are not included in tuition. New students also incur a one-time, non-refundable enrollment fee of $1,200 due at the time of enrollment.
Payment Plan Options
Single pay, quarterly, and 10-month payment plans are available for the 2026-27 school year. Quarterly and monthly payments incur installment fees of $50 per quarter or $30 per month. Tuition payments typically begin in July.
Tuition insurance (3% of the tuition balance) is required for quarterly or monthly payment plans. It is optional for single payment families. Tuition insurance is provided through Dewar Tuition Insurance. Learn more at tuitionrefundplan.com.
Tuition Assistance

Charleston Collegiate School has been approved by the South Carolina Department of Education to receive funds from the ESTF program. This program provides public funds to support eligible students’ private school tuition.

Each year, we award financial aid and scholarships to students in 1st grade and above who qualify for assistance beyond ESTF. We use a third party called “School & Student Services” (SSS) to complete a financial assessment ($60) to determine if a family qualifies for funding beyond the ESTF grant. SSS provides CCS with a report on family qualification. The information from the SSS report is considered alongside additional factors, including the budget set by our board of trustees to determine financial aid availability.
Families may apply for financial aid or scholarships each year. Financial Aid applications are found in the Admission Portal and Parent Portal.
