Upper School
In upper school at Charleston Collegiate School, students engage in rigorous, purpose-driven learning within a highly personalized environment. Through a learner-centered, project-based approach, students move beyond memorization to meaningful application, connecting academic content to real-world challenges.
Advisors provide consistent mentorship as students navigate increasing academic expectations, leadership opportunities, and future planning. Athletics, performing arts, academic competitions, community partnerships, and mentoring challenge students to grow intellectually and personally.
Project-based and cross-curricular learning defines the experience. Students investigate complex questions, collaborate to develop solutions, and publicly present their work, demonstrating critical thinking, creativity, and strong communication skills.
By the time of graduation, CCS students are confident thinkers, capable leaders, and engaged citizens prepared for success in college and beyond.
